Background
Siemens ist ein führender Hersteller von Elektromotoren und Getriebemotoren. Am Standort Tübingen fertigt Siemens Getriebe und Getriebemotoren. Es ist geplant, die Jahresstückzahl deutlich zu erhöhen. Die Montage sowie der zugehörige Lagerbereich sind heute voll ausgelastet. Auf dem Nachbargrundstück kann eine zusätzliche Halle errichtet werden. PI wurde beauftragt, die Fertigung und Logistik in Hinblick auf das anstehende Wachstum und die vom Markt geforderten kürzeren Lieferzeiten neu zu gestalten.
